Yep -- I'm crushing on a bird

I guess I was lazy this week in trying to find photo opps -- but at least I know I can always count on Sebastian. He cracks me up. He always makes for a fun photo.

There he was...leading the Pep Rally this week...we play Georgia Tech this weekend. I'm crossing my fingers for the Hurricanes!

You know who to cheer for! Go 'Canes!

How I"m connected to UM

I made the leap to go to school at the Univerity of Miami after graduating from Kamehameha Schools in Honolulu, Hawaii. Crazy decision? Maybe so. But I wouldn't change a single decision I've made since then.

I earned my B.S. in Communication (2003) and was offered a chance to be an admission counselor. How could you go wrong in a job where you talk to other people about something you love? And better yet -- how could you pass up earning a Master's degree with tuition remission? I earned my M.S.Ed. in Enrollment Management in 2006.

So these days I am the eManager for the Division of Enrollment Management. I work with e-Communication for prospective students (web, e-mail, blogs, IM, etc.). I can't even tell you how much I'm loving how UM has changed my life.

I started this blog because I've always wanted to show people the magic of this campus through photos. So here goes...
